On Sunday, 06/18/23 the HSC Strikers Boys  U14 won the MCYSA Flight 1 Championship with a 2-1 win over Rockaway.  

This victory came on the heels of a very rough week for the Strikers, who had a player go down with an injury, played 4 games in 8 days and suffered their first loss of the spring season, 7-1 spring record. 
While all of the Strikers played an excellent game on Sunday, Nick Couden was the Man of the Match with the go ahead, game winning goal in the 52nd minute. 
The Strikers end the 2022/23 season with a total record of 19 wins / 2 losses, 76 goals for / 18 against, two - Flight 1 Titles and the 2022 Fall NJYS Boys U14 Challenge Cup Championship.
